Author Kait Nolan:
Kait Nolan is a romance author, mostly know for her Wishful Serie. She is a Mississippi native and has something for everyone, from short and sweet to Southern contemporary romance to action-packed paranormal. The heroines she writes typify the strengths of women. She also loves some alpha heroes, but she always seem to gravitate toward telling the women’s story. Kait is juggling a full time job in university level research, and two part time teaching positions that take advantage of her Master’s degree in clinical psychology. When not working or writing, Kait Nolan is hanging out in her kitchen cooking and wishing life were a Broadway musical.

Watch Over Me bookdescription:
The only thing Rowan Beale ever wanted was to be a cop. But in the wake of her partner’s death, she still hasn’t been cleared to return to duty. Already at loose ends, when her Uncle Robert has a heart attack, she doesn’t hesitate to go to Wishful to take care of him. Reserve officer Nash Brewer is a born care-taker, so of course he pitches in after his neighbor and mentor has heart surgery. But it’s not just the former Wishful Police Chief who needs his help. Robert’s strong, gutsy niece is hurting and haunted—and someone’s been targeting her.

My opinion:
What a promising start of Watch Over Me! Because I really love it when a book starts with a great quote. And look at this one: “When you feel crazy, it’s the ones who love you anyway who matter most.”
I think it’s a perfect description of the book itself. Rowan is doubting what she is hearing and seeing, specially after she is caught on camera, which are installed to figure out what is happening. Kait Nolan is describing this in a very intriguing way, she lets you questioning everything you read. But Nash isn’t doubting his feelings, he knows that there is a explanation for everything.
Watch Over Me tells you a story about doubting everything you know, everything you are. It will lead you on the road where you discover that you are exactly where you are supposed to be. That even doubting, you will find your way and everything will work out. That’s how life works.

Rating Watch Over Me:

8.5 out of 10 stars (8.5 / 10)  Watch Over Me is an incredible story about courage, family, being there for each other no matter what and about life itself. My only complain is that it is too short. It has love, but also action and thrilling scene’s that has you on the edge of your seat. That combined gives you a fantastic story!
