Bayside Escape book description

Lizza is up to her old tricks again, and Violet is in for the surprise of a lifetime!
Two years ago Violet Vancroft was a nomadic artist who never wanted to put down roots and Andre Shaw was a prominent Boston physician whose roots ran too deep to unearth. Their love didn’t stand a chance—or at least that’s what Violet believed when she received a plea for help from the sister she’d never really known—so she snuck away like a thief in the night.
Now Andre travels the world, setting up new medical clinics, and Violet has finally found the family she’d always craved and the roots she’d never known she wanted. When their paths cross unexpectedly, it’s not the reunion either one imagined.

Favorite Bayside Escape quote

” We’re all broken. So what? None of us get through life without bumps, bruises, and a few shattered dreams. What matters is what we do with the unshattered ones. “ – Melissa Foster

My opinion

Sometimes you start in a book and from the very first page you are touched by the story. Bayside Escape is so perfectly put together. Melissa Foster, you went to a whole other level with writing Bayside Escape. I can’t even explain with the right words. It just clicked, everything. From the first glimpse Violet and Andre shared, till how Violet does things, till the perfect ending. You couldn’t have write it better.

Violet and Andre never stopped loving each other, and after the dust of anger and hurt settles, passion ignites even hotter than before in Bayside Escape. As the end to Andre’s time at the Cape nears, reality sets in, leaving them no closer to a future than they were before. Violet and Andre are forced to dig deep to discover if they’re destined to live apart forever or if true love really can conquer all.

Violet is the most wonderful extraordinary woman I have ever read about. She has so many layers, and the awesomeness is that they all connect. Even in ways she herself doesn’t recognize. But the world would be so beautiful with people like Violet in it. Only helping people, volunteering, because of the deed and not because of the recognition you might get.

Rating Bayside Escape

9 out of 10 stars (9 / 10) Bayside Escape by Melissa Foster surprised me in many many ways. It touched my heart in many many ways. It changed my view to the world. To what I’m doing and why I’m doing it. It is the most wonderful read I had in a very long time. Thank you.

” I finally know the true meaning of home. It isn’t about whether I spent my childhood there or how many years I’ve lived somewhere. It’s a feeling of safety, and unconditional love. “ – Melissa Foster
